This photo is my view east and includes Groper Islet, one of the small islands off the Coffs Coast in northern New South Wales, Australia.
Look At Me Now Headland, part of Moonee Beach Nature Reserve, juts east into the Pacific Ocean and is a great place to watch the sunrise. There are abundant wildlife from the resident grey kangaroos and birdlife, to the seasonal whale watching. Sometimes you can follow pods of dolphins frolicking in the ocean around the rocks or watch them catch waves beside the surfers. I often spend time meandering across the grass, stopping to examine the delicate white and yellow flowers that cluster close to the ground to protect themselves from the wind, or stand and marvel at the way they bloom in clusters of ‘fairy rings’.
