These aptly named Rainbow Lorikeets are common birds in Australia and travel in large noisy flocks. This pair are taking advantage of the bird bath in my mother’s garden in Sydney, Australia. I love the way the feathers are ruffled up and the way the blue feathers make such a distinct face mask….such beautiful birds!
