the carpet under my feet

Once more the tides have deposited a carpet of shells and small pebbles on Serenity Beach, in some places there are just tiny pebbles that your feet sink a foot into like its soft snow, in other places its all minute and perfect shells and I wonder how they have survived the journey. Then there are stretches of larger shells bleached white by the sun and finally small rocks the size of my hand. So much texture so much to see!

Perfect title for such a beautiful photo! And I love the blues in the shells. That would make a great print you know.

That’s amazingly pretty–I’ve never seen a beach with so many shells.

multiply that out to a hundred yard beach and you start to get the idea of the fun to be had
