P1160248These birds were introduced into Australia in the 1860’s. They have spread around the south west coastal regions and in a couple of territories on the Queensland coast. They average 23-25 cms. Not a great picture, but as I haven’t added one of these to the bird log it will do for now.

      and for common birds its strange I have so rarely seen them..might be part of their survival technique to stay under the radar
