Colourful broad-tailed parrots with distinctive cheek patches, as varied as white, green, blue and red. The Eastern Rosella has white cheeks set against a red head and red breast, a yellow underside and a rich yellow and black mantle on its back feathers. They are around 30 cm and are usually spotted in pairs.
